WELLNESS TRAINING

Wellness Training is a type of training that can increase the all around health of your body. After performing a Kinesics Evaluation, Kendall, our Human Movement Specialist and Trainer will design a Wellness Training Program best suited for your body. The program will focus on strengthening exercises that are solely based on your postural abnormalities as well as soft tissue techniques to help aid in the realignment/neurology of specific joint structures and complexes. Usually Kendall loves to put her patients through a three month wellness training at the beginning.

We offer two types of One-on-One Training at LVWellness & Aesthetics for all ages/all goals: Personal Training and Wellness Training. To determine the right training program and style of training for you and your body, we start all clients/patients with a full postural and range of motion evaluation before designing any training programs. This allows us to make sure we are both on the same page when helping you reach your goals!

Why do you recommend your Kinesics Program before beginning Wellness Training?

Our Kinesics Program allows us to evaluate your range of motion, body restrictions, asymmetries, posture as well as core strength. In order to accomplish a successful training program we need to determine your base line. Our Kinesics Evaluation provides us a road map to customize a program that’s based on what YOUR body needs! It is required for all clients before designing a original program for someone to complete the assessment.

What type of soft tissue work is performed?

There are multiple techniques that our trainers are trained in. Majority of the soft tissue work includes massage, trigger point therapy, different tools to break up scar tissue or lactic acid, and more.

I am experiencing pain, how can Wellness Training help me?

Depending on your circumstances, our Wellness Training can reduce inflammation by realigning the structural components of your body. Pain is typically sourced from weak ligaments, muscles and tendons. We help strengthen these areas by creating a customized program that entails strength training and soft tissue work. Your customized program is based upon your Kinesics results and the guidance from our Human Movement Specialist.
