Gelena “G” Scally
Lead Instructor

Gelena (G) relocated to Houston from NY after spending 6+ years in Investment Banking, to create a more balanced life and to be closer to family. G grew up in Aurora, CO, rescuing homeless animals, playing sports and taking pictures of anything that would pose for her…she hasn’t changed much. Over the years, she fell in love with martial arts, ballroom dance, ballet and hip-hop, eventually becoming a professional ballroom dancer. Unfortunately, due to multiple knee and foot injuries and the surgeries that followed, she had to stop dancing. In 2009, G discovered DEFINE Body and Mind – it was the first method to keep her interested long enough to help her regain strength, flexibility and the confidence that she had lost over the years. She attended classes for almost a year before deciding to become an Instructor, which changed her life forever. She enhanced her journey in 2014 by earning her 200hr RYT from Sara Turk at Cherry Blossom Yoga in Spring, TX. G enjoys helping her clients create balance, build confidence and achieve their fitness goals.


Romney discovered her love of music and movement at the age of three after watching her first performance of The Nutcracker in her hometown, Calgary, Alberta in Canada. From then on she trained rigorously with the hopes of pursuing a professional career. Unfortunately while in college, two knee injuries forced her to change directions. While earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from Sam Houston State University, she found comfort in teaching children’s dance classes. After graduating, Romney discovered Barre and Yoga and fell in love with the method that felt familiar to her because of her dance background, but challenged her body and mind in a new way. Romney is thrilled to help clients pursue and achieve their goals.



Shelby is a native Texan – born and raised in Spring. Shelby has a passion for helping people and has always been in the customer service industry. She started instructing Barre and Yoga in 2014. She enjoys getting to know each and every one of our clients and will likely remember your name after your first encounter – she truly wants to see you grow and achieve your fitness and health goals.
